Give a book to those who asked!

We can't leave these brothers and sisters without access to knowledge. Let's give a book to every Muslim who has applied to Tayba's Distance Learning Program - whether they have been accepted yet or not!

Here's how this campaign works:

• Every $80 contribution will provide 1 copy of Revelation for Tayba Foundation to give to students
• I will personally sign each book. 
• If the campaign reaches its goal of $80,000, I will donate an additional 1000 books to Tayba Foundation
• All campaign gifts are donations to Tayba Foundation and are tax-deductable

Any piece of mail, no matter how impersonal or insignificant, is meaningful in prison. Imagine receiving a signed textbook!

Why give a book?

Our country is facing the daunting challenges of mass incarceration, the prison industrial complex, and institutional racism. Tayba Foundation's addresses the roots of these problems, one person at a time. 

With 2.2 million people incarcerated in the US today, it may seem that Tayba's work is insignificant. But Dr. Jackson believes Tayba's students can make a tremendous contribution - not only to their own communities, but to the American Muslim community as a whole.

Dr Jackson continues:

"We have to stop thinking that if it's not doable in my lifetime, then it's not worthy of investment. We have to stop thinking like that! Right? Right? 

"As a wise man once said, 'Anything that's worth my committing my life to, is probably not achieveable in a single lifetime.' And that's what we have to begin to realize, and understand."
