Syrian refugees need your support, now more than ever.

This Ramadan, we've partnered with Penny Appeal to raise £50,000 for displaced and vulnerable Syrian refugee families. Your support will help provide meals, hygiene kits and contribute towards mobile health clinics and a dedicated COVID-19 treatment centre.

​Background

As the coronavirus spreads across the Middle East, there is growing concern that Syrians in Turkey refugee camps are likely to face a major outbreak – which would be catastrophic to those who have suffered the outcome of nine years of war.

The war in Syria began 9 years ago and the humanitarian crisis is the worst it has ever been. This Ramadan, with your help, The Muslim Vibe hopes to raise £50,000 for Syrians who have been displaced. 

Where your donations will go! 

We travelled out to Turkey with Penny Appeal to help them prepare food parcels and hygiene kits to be delivered along with tents to Syrian refugees. 

With Covid-19 plaguing vulnerable individuals across the globe, this aid will be prioritised for families affected by coronavirus and. Given the global pandemic, some tents are being prepared as sterile testing and treatment centres for those infected with the virus. 

Alongside this essential emergency aid, some of the funds we raise will also go towards the running of a mobile health clinic. The mobile clinic we would like to support will provide gynaecological and antenatal support to pregnant and non-pregnant women and will also offer psychosocial support to women who have suffered psychological trauma. The clinic will also have a GP with paediatric qualifications to provide medical care and assistance to children.
