Allah states: "Who is better in speech than the one who invites to Allah and does righteous good deeds and then says indeed I am from among the Muslims."

       2 years after Hurricane Maria destroyed Puerto Rico and altered the life of those living there, we find that people are still living with blue tarps covering their homes (http://https://www.wapa.tv/noticias/locales/aun-hay-ciudadanos-viviendo-bajo-toldos-a-dos-anos-de-maria_20131122458783.html?fbclid=IwAR0iNDTkeSXwzxrgXCfXWtd1HhPKNIf7sCHzNoFFiNFq8ddkPalzzM6GRJg).  These tarps were supposed to be a temporary solution while waiting for FEMA to come in to help restore their home back to normal.

      Unfortunately normalcy has not been the experience of these poor individuals who cannot afford to pay for a new roof which really does not cost much money for those who have it.  This clearly demonstrates that those who are still affected and using blue tarps are poor, elderly, bedridden, and do not have the ability to fix their roof.

      Their roof leaks water into either various parts of the house or all of the house causing serious health hazards for those who are already extremely vulnerable due to age, health conditions, and being poverty stricken. 

      Help us impact and change their lives!  Caring for these individuals and aiding them to repair their roof is the best forms of Dawah that a Muslim can do.  Help us show them what true Islam is.
