Q. Is it a real thing or just a dream/vision?
A. Wafaa is real. We have a FULLY working proof of concept alhamdulilah.
Q. What's a proof of concept?
A. Evidence which establishes that an idea, invention or process is feasible. Here's how iPad/iPhone looked, when Apple were working on it: click here
Q. What are you going to do with the funds?
A. 100% of the funds will go towards creating the 'finished' product. And, launch trials in at least 10 Masajid insha'allah - see breakdown below.
Q. Is it just a pretty clock? How is it different from what's out there?
A. No. It's a WiFi-enabled device that operates via smartphone, broadcasts audio and much more - wallahi. :-)
Q. Is there going to be an app?
A. Yes. 2 apps insha'allah. One for the Imams to operate Wafaa and other for the followers to receive notifications, stream audio, stay on top of congregation times and lots more.

It's Friday!
Salaam folks!
Weekend’s here but we're far from slowing down. Not being able to raise funds has in many ways fuelled our creativity -- it's pushed us to think outside the box; If our (ingenious) idea goes to plan, we’d be one step closer to launching pilots before Ramadan insha'allah.

Salaam folks,
Firstly, thank you for your support of our project. It really meant a lot to us to see you guys show interest towards it.
Unfortunately, we were not able to spread the word wide enough, hence were not able to raise the required funds. As the Wafaa project ran under ‘all-or-nothing’ terms, you will not be charged simply because the goal was not attained.
Although we have expansive knowledge on how to develop and implicate advanced pieces of technology, we lack the marketing knowledge / skills. As a result, we are striving to fix the problem insha'allah.
This is not the end of the Wafaa ambition. We have dedicated ourselves to creating the first ever connected prayer time clock. Therefore, we cannot concede defeat, now that we have taken the first strides towards the achievement of our goals. Stay tuned for more updates! We are still working hard on the project and have a really big update coming your way soon.
