The Next Generation of Muslim Americans

It's a constant battle for Muslim youth to learn and love their deen. This three-week intensive will allow students an outlet to study, learn and build friendships with other Muslim youth from across the country.

Creating our own Hira in America

Similar to the way the Beloved Prophet (S) retreated to the Cave of Hira as a place of solitude to reflect upon himself and build his relationship with his Creator, Hira Intensive calls upon youth to dedicate time towards strengthening their mind, body, and soul through a deeper understanding of the foundations of faith. From studying tafsir and fiqh to understanding who our Creator is, who His Prophet (S) is and who we are, this program aims to empower youth with awakened minds, inspired hearts, and enlightened actions to re-imagine and work towards the healthy development of themselves and the communities around them.

HIRA Intensive 2017

The institute is offering a unique retreat for young people. Top scholars will teach them aqeedah, usool ul fiqh, social entrepreneurship, fiqh, maqaasid, science of hadith, tazkiyyah, practicums, community building and so much more.

It will be a three-week long program. We believe that the institute will take top level young people, from all demographic and financial backgrounds and produce outstanding leaders that understand the depth of their faith.

MYNA: Empowering Muslim Youth For 30 Years

MYNA , the Muslim Youth of North America, is an organization to promote a healthy Islamic identity and social network for young people. We are now launching the Hira Institute that integrates high level education into the MYNA repertoire and experience. Young people will have a safe place to learn the depths of their faith. They will learn to be loyal Americans and dedicated Muslims. HIRA encourages us to claim and protect beautiful character while re-imagining a world built around the principles of faith, justice and service.

MYNA growth and engagement by the youth is tremendous. Proper education has always been left to others among the tens of thousands of youth served. Imparting knowledge to American youth has always been difficult and therefore MYNA made the strategic decision to focus on education.

As a youth-led initiative, we strongly request your support to help youth from your community and around the US to benefit from this unique program by financially providing for student scholarships. The cost of one student's tuition is $2,000, which includes lodging, food, books and materials, and transportation during the program.
