At Nisa Helpline we believe that women are an integral part of families and societies at large. Our aim is to help Muslim Women become mentally, emotionally and psychologically strong. 

Nisa Helpline is a peer-to-peer free counselling service available to all Muslim Women of all ages and from all walks of life.  Accessible anywhere in North America for women to confide and receive support from.

 Counsellors are professionals; trained and prepared to assist no matter how intense or sensitive the matter may be. The services provided are but not limited to mental health, depression, sexuality, emotional or physical abuse, intimidation, harassment and relationship counselling.

By helping women live a constructive and dignified life, we are building a stronger and more resilient Muslim community.

Over 17,000 calls in 4 years

Since 2014, our counsellors have answered over 17,000 calls and are projected to answer over 7,000 in the upcoming months alone. The increasing demand due to awareness and reliability of our service is requiring us to hire more trained counsellors and providing them with continual education to meet our callers’ needs.

NISA’s annual operational costs are over $120,000 and this Ramadan we are committed to raise $50,000 to cover some of our annual costs.

• Phase 1 = $20,000 – helps to cover 2 months of calls
  
• Phase 2 = $35,000 – helps to cover 3.5 months of calls
  
• Phase 3 = $50,000 – helps to cover 5 months of calls
