Alhamdillilah , we are back again in trying to help the helpless. Unfortunately, the Syrian problem is nowhere close to a resolution. More refugees... More suffering...almost everyday.

I ask you again in this blessed month to join me in securing & delivering dates to our Syrian brothers and sisters in the refugees camps along the Turkish and Jordanian borders.

We actually need the charity much more than they do. The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said “Give the Sadaqah without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Tirmidhi #1887).

Remember:

“The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allaah, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. Allaah gives manifold increase to whom He wills. And Allaah is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower."

We are just 14 hours away from closing out the current new old campaign to support our displaced Syrian brothers and sisters.

Alhamdulilah, we have exceeded our current target of $30,000. Jasak Allah Khiran for all your generous contributions. 

Obviously, you can still contribute towards the campaign beyond the current stated goal before the end of the campaign later today. As you know ,the need is much bigger than these limited stated goals.

InshAllah, we will be back with a new similar campaign before the upcoming month of Ramdan.

Update - 20,000 Families Fed With all your help and support we raised enough to distribute 20 tons of dates which fed over 20,000 families during Ramadan! Please continue your support so that we can distribute even more dates!

Please do not forget the Syrian refugees with your last 2016 tax deductible donations.

With your continuous generous help the Syrian people will overcome the hunger and endure for a better tomorrow.

Sadaqah (voluntary charity) is  a proof of one’s eeman (faith).

The Prophet (S.A.W.S)  said: “Cleanliness is half of faith. Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah) fills the scale. SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah) and Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah) fill up what is between the heavens and the earth. Prayer is a light. Charity is proof (of one’s faith). Endurance is a brightness and the Qur’an is a proof on your behalf or against you. All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves.” (Muslim, 432)

Aleppo is burning ! more than 50,000 are still trapped inside the city. Thousands more are running for their life towards Turkish border. Government forces and their allied Militias are killing people and preventing them from leaving to the safe areas outside the city. The situation is very bleak! No food! No shelter! No medical help!  

NGO's  are contacting us for help. Dates and water are enough to sustain people till the international community mobilizes its resources.

With your former donations we were able to deliver containers of dates to the refugees inside Syria.

We are calling on you again!

The desperate people of Aleppo are counting on your generous help again.

It has been narrated that our beloved prophet  Mohamed ( PBUH) said:

"....Whosoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah will remove from him one of the griefs of the Day of Judgment. Whosoever alleviates [the lot of] a needy person, Allah will alleviate [his lot] in this world and the next. Whosoever shields a Muslim, Allah will shield him in this world and the next. Allah will aid a slave [of His] so long as the slave aids his brother. ...."

Children, women, the sick and elderly of Syria needs us NOW to alleviate their griefs.

WOW !! Throughout this campaign, We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of so many donors who have come together to make a huge impact on the lives of the Syrian refugees. In response to this generosity, We have raised the goal of this campaign several times... We have accumulated close to 400 donors MashAllah. We are very close to our final goal of $25,000.

Three (40 ft each) containers of the finest Algerian dates have already been delivered to the Syrian refugees in Jordan, Turkey and inside Syria. Your generous contributions were a major part of this effort. We are very proud of all who contributed regardless of the quantity contributed be it $1000 or even $1.

The final bill of the three containers including delivery charges exceeded $125,000.

Alhamdillilah! We are almost done covering all said charges due to your generous contributions and other private contributions that were collected outside this platform. 

I would like on your behalf to thank our friends at our favored charity organization namely United Muslim Relief (UMR)  for their generous contributions in matching all money collected by you.  

May Allah accept your fasting, prayers, charity and other good deeds. May Allah grant you Al Jannah!

The blessed month of Ramdan is past halfway already! Fasting days go so fast…..The count down to the end of the this blessed month is on! 

Recharge your Ramdan spirit by giving more to the Syrian refugees !

Soon the month will be over but your good deeds will be there for you when you need them most in the hereafter.

Alhamdillilah by the grace of Allah, We have reached our initial target of $15,000 . Thank you/ Jasak Allah Khiran  to all of you.

One container of dates is already in the sea heading to your brothers and sisters in the refugee camps. 

Project management decided to extend the campaign to the end of Ramadan inshAllah with a new target of $20,000. More money is needed for shipping and other distribution costs and the possibility of sending more containers of dates.  Please share within your network and encourage your friends to be part of this nobel cause.
