UPDATE: We've decided to change the name of our project into "Palestinian Voices."

   Development and Languages club (D.L.C) is a club based in Gaza, Palestine. It was established by a group of aspiring young men and women from Gaza to help other Gazans acquire new languages and improve their bilingual skills. This language investment will then be used to reach out for the international community and help convey the tragic situation of the Palestinians under the Israeli Occupation and its siege imposed on Gaza since 2006 to the whole world. We will be able to reveal the ever-concealed face of Israel's terror and inhumanity from a Gazan sight of suffering.

   The idea of this club has mainly emerged from the lack of a team on the ground to stand against the Israeli Hasbara, to which Israeli government and its allies pay millions of dollars to spread lies and deceits about us ,the Palestinians, through their false propaganda. Therefore, we planned to establish a qualified team of young Gazans to stand against their Hasbara and speak on behalf of the citizens of Palestine and the besieged Gaza.

   " The power of Gazan youth is what can make Gaza stand up again! Support us to do so.. "

   We have been working on many Events and activities on the ground. The latest was " Gaza Also Has Talents. " Aseel Shaheen and I were interviewed by a local TV channel, Koofya TV, to speak about this event. They were astonished of how could we achieve such an event without paying a cent! It was all voluntary..

   This Club consists of many teams: 

- Translation Team: this team works mainly on translating articles, short stories, short films, and other works related to the Palestinian Cause.

- English Club: this group conducts its meetings weekly, to practice English and speak about Palestinian issues which has been effectively helping in improving our debating skills in English.

- APC Team: Ambassadors of Palestinian Cause is a team who eagerly works and plans, day and night, to confront the Israeli Hasbara and publish the truth of the misery life in Gaza and reveal the true ugly face of Israel to the whole world.

- Talents Team: This team is devoted to a group of young talented people based in Gaza to work together in developing their talents and skills to reveal them later to the entire world through many means, most importantly: Youtube.

- PR Team: Public Relations Team mainly links with specific people from Outside Gaza to achieve particular tasks that benefit Palestine.

- Events and Activities Team: This team searches for International Events and days to conduct an appropriate event for them in Gaza. It focuses genreally in Events related to their cause as Palestinians.

   We are totally sure of the fact that you have heard once of the harsh circumstances of the youth in Gaza and the prevailing unemployment and poverty there. All of these tragic incidents were sadly affecting our energy and creativity. We have been always dreaming of having our own channel in the YouTube to publish the daily life of Gaza through the International Language: English and many other languages. We also have dreams of establishing our own organization- It's worth mentioning that our youth group has been usually hosted by many institutions and associations to have our meetings held, this has been limiting our capabilities. Sometimes we were forced to rent the place where we want to hold a meeting, other times we could not manage to rent the place as we all barely earn money to live. There are some advanced courses and training we need to take, but we can't afford the costs of the courses' trainers. We encounter many difficulties and obstacle related to money in a daily manner. That's why we really need your help and support. Your small donations make big differences and even bigger gratitude. We promise that your support will not ever be forgotten and your help  will lead this team to leave a huge positive impact on Gaza and bring a better future to our community more than what you would ever imagine, since the fact that the members of this team are extremely ambitious.  

Why do we need these financial contributions?

- Annual fees for renting the place:

- Equipment and supplies for our organization: desks, chairs, stationery items, tables, white boards, computers, laptops, printers, LCD projector, .. etc.

- Providing the needed equipment for the disabled members in our team.

- Establishing official website for this group in the Internet ( Hosting, domain,     and web developer fees. )

- Necessary equipment for platforms on social media, that will be established as soon as the campaign is over.

- Design, decoration and painting fees.

- Providing laptops for our creative writers as some members of the team do  not have their own laptops.

- Providing free courses for the youth group which requires covering the costs  of the trainers.

- We will establish a channel for this group at Youtube and this requires Providing cameras and video and photographic equipment for filming purposes and this requires: Professional Cameras, lenses, tripod, speed-light, memories, ...etc.

- Surprising needy students of our group by paying their university fees.

- library and books fees.

- Payments of providing internet and telephone line for the first few months.

- Payments of the electricity and water bills for the first few months.

- International transfer fees and charges, advertising and designing fees, transportation fees, and employee ratios.

- License fees to the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Interior.

- Wages of the representatives of the team for the first few months.
