Salam , my name is Sawsana 

Three  years ago, I was graduating from  Foreign languages school and I completed my BA &E.D degree in English Literature and education from Alazhar University in Gaza city, ready to enter the working world as a Muslim committed to learning and working for her community  whenever time and life would allow.

Alhamdullillah I have got   a partial  scholarship to study postgraduate course this year where I've spent 15 months studying ,learning and taking all courses in different fields which provided by the Turkish international association IHH & Turkish Cultural Center  Gaza ,Palestine.

Everyone understand the severity of Palestinian  living conditions, the depth of daily struggle to survive, and the drive toward betterment and success which fosters the hopes and dreams they carry within

I didn't stop at this point but also used the hours of electricity when it was on to gain new experience by taking courses relating to the origins of languages such as French, Turkish and Persian language by distance learning with international universities from Spain, Australia, south Africa, USA, Canada and Britain.Learning those languages allow me to deepen my relationships with the new Muslims friends whom I will meet with in Istanbul by Keeping up with their devotional practices is something that will strengthen their  faith immensely insha Allah

I feel blessed to have a chance like that ( studying master degree+ be a part of online portal of Islamic  institution where your investment comes in )

I think this is the best step I can take after  I go into the world of translation studies  at the University .  I believe having a solid foundation in the Islamic Sciences  is the way I can make the most change!

I've realized that it's time for me to broaden my skill level of understanding fiqh , seerah and hadith when it comes to serving the Deen .

Getting a chance to meet Ustadh AbdelRahman Murphy during this distinctive trip will allow me to discuss many things regarding the Deen .I want to feel a connection to Allah (swt) and thereafter try to bring others closer to Him.

I hope to be an asset to my community, whether through teaching, providing relevant programming, or even creating initiative  and service projects  aimed at ultimately bringing people closer to each other and to Allah .
