Empowering orphan girls to break the poverty cycle through education, physical and spiritual studies to become transformative leaders of tomorrow.

Empowering Orphan Girls

U.S. based Saba Homes strives to empower orphans girls in Pakistan by providing them with the tools necessary to break out of the poverty cycle and helping them become independent and productive citizens of Pakistan.

Who are we?
The orphans of Saba not only receive food and shelter but they also receive the highest quality of Education, leadership training, character development, physical education and most importantly they receive the love and affection that every child yearns for. The Saba girls have the founding chairman Saghir Aslam and his wife Bushra Aslam as their "mama" and "papa" figure who they can confide their hopes, dreams, and fears with. In addition, the saba girls have den mothers who look after the girls' every need. These resources will play a crucial role in turning the orphans of Saba Homes into transformative leaders of Pakistan.

Saba Homes was established in 2005 by Saghir Aslam. H
is wife Bushra Aslam's lifelong dream was to adopt a few parentless girls and provide them with the same level of love, care and opportunity that she would for her own children. When a 7.5 earthquake disaster struck in the North of Pakistan,  in October 2005, killing 80,000 people and leaving 7 million homeless, Saba Trust established Saba Homes as a long-term solution for the children left as orphans. Saba Homes is an institution where the Saba girls learn to love and respect every human being regardless of their race, religion or background.

Empowering orphans with education.
Unlike many orphanages that provide basic food and shelter to orphans, Saba Homes honors the orphan, focuses on their long-term development and nurtures them with love and care. We have taken many of the girls who come from an impoverished background and give them an opportunity to break the cycle of poverty through elite education. Many of our girls are studying to be doctors, engineers, architects... and understand giving back to the needy, orphans, and widows as an integral part of their makeup.

Schools attended by Saba girls are well reputed private schools that usually cater for upper-middle class. This gives the girls the opportunity to be educated just like anyone else and the ability to get a job later in their life.

In addition to the excellent education and love and care that they receive, they also take part in extracurricular activities that will set them up for success and help them become transformative leaders of Pakistan. These activities include physical education classes like karate, time management courses, spiritual lessons, leadership training and giving to the less fortunate.
