My Quran Journal allows you to record these moments and connect more deeply with the Quran. It is a system of penning your reflections, appreciation and gratitude. Many of us tend to recite the Quran regularly but how often do we find the time to just truly slow down and reflect upon the words of Allah and what He is telling us? We undertook a Quran Journal survey in the early months of 2022. Within four weeks of pushing out this survey, we received an astonishing 170 responses! One of the questions we had asked within the survey was: ‘Have you ever owned a Quran Journal?’ and 88.2% of the respondents replied with no! Also, we undertook over 15 focus group interviews with a diverse range of audiences. Within these interviews, we had realised that there was so much demand for a Quran Journal. A lot of the participants mentioned how they wanted a book which helped them to connect more deeply with the Quran. Some key quotes from the participants of the focus group interviews:
When we think of the Quran, these three words are very commonly associated with this beautiful book. In fact, our relationship and connection with the Quran can be summarised in these very three words. My Quran Journal is centred around the these three core concepts. When we recite the Quran, our duty is to not only recite the Quran in any shape or form but in a correct and melodious manner. Whether we have memorised or are just simply reciting the Quran, it is every Muslim's duty to revise the Quran.
My Quran Journal aims to transform the lives of many around the world. Whether you are a Quran student/teacher, a parent or just someone who wants to connect more with the Quran, this is the book for you! Many people memorise and recite the Quran fluently but not many are able to UNDERSTAND and REFLECT over the Quran. This book aims to help overcome this barrier. Your help and support will allow so many to connect more deeply with the Quran!

He memorised the Holy Qur’aan by the age of 11 at Quwwat ul Islam Masjid, London. He has studied Tajweed and Qiraa’ah in Egypt, Jordan & Morocco and is currently studying the Saba’ Qiraa’ah (7 Different ways of recital). He is a qualified secondary school teacher and has vast experience of teaching in a school setting. Currently, he is employed as the Director of Learning for Religious Education and Civic & Community Leadership Coordinator at the Eden Girls school in Waltham Forest, London. He has successfully completed an LLB (Hons) Law degree at the University of East London and undertook the Legal Practice Course at Leeds Metropolitan University. He is a qualified Solicitor by profession. Qari Is’Haaq currently is a part-time Imaam at London Islamic Cultural Society in North London. He has also been invited to lead the Taraweeh prayers in Jordan, India, Morocco & Germany. Furthermore, he has taken part in various International Qur’aan Competitions around the world, notably in: Egypt, Jordan and Morocco, in which he has represented the UK.

Thank you to everyone who has been involved and supported me in this incredible journey of writing and publishing My Quran Journal. A special thank you to my dear wife and daughter for their unwavering support. Without their duas and allowing me to work on the book for several hours, this book would not have been possible.
Over 3,000 donors helped to crowdfund the launch of the book, 35 businesses sponsored the themes from the book, 170 research surveys were completed, we held interviews with 25 individuals (a diverse range of scholars, bloggers, parents, students and reverts) and 15 individuals helped to proofread the book before it went for print.
One of the key reasons as to why I had written My Quran Journal was to help us strengthen, transform and deepen our connection with the Quran. Whether you are a Quran student, teacher, a parent or just someone who wants to connect more with the Quran, this is the book for you!
Many people memorise and recite the Quran fluently but not many are able to understand and reflect over the Quran. This book aims to help overcome this barrier. This book contains 52 carefully selected themes from the Quran and each theme contains a verse and a series of reflections relevant to that particular theme.
