www.HASNA.ID, The First Digital Media Emphasizing Halal Awareness in the Beauty Industry and Modesty in Fashion Industry.

Why Is It Important?

As Muslim, we are very concerned about how most media set the standard of beauty and making our youths and Millennials perceived beauty in a distorted way.

With our hashtag campaign - #KindAndBeautiful - we are trying to influence women, especially our younger generation, beauty is not all about physical appearance only, but being a beautiful person starts from how you love yourself, be kind to other people, and always grateful to The Most Gracious and Most Merciful.

With your help and donations, we could establish and grow our start-up media. We are starting to create Halal awareness in the Beauty industry by promoting beauty products with halal ingredients, encouraging companies from small home-based to corporate companies to get Halal certifications, and influencing women to always use halal beauty products.

We are also striving to motivate and inspire women that wearing modest clothing is also beautiful. We wanted to empower women and shift their concept of beauty to not only about physical bodies, but to the beauty of their creative minds, their good manners, their social contributions in the community.

What We Are?

We are digital media company based in Jakarta, Indonesia. We are focusing in social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) and a website that has Halal Section that highlights beauty products with halal ingredients and promoting modest look and fashion as the new trend and featuring Indonesian inspiring women.

We are also establishing a community of young generations of empowered women, creating a regular community events such as talk shows and discussions, seminars, and workshops emphasizing in the importance of being #KindAndBeautiful.

Who We Are?

Founded and created by Fira Basuki, a renowned and prolific writer from Indonesia, she has more than 30 books published under her name. Fira has Bachelor of Arts in Communications-Journalism from Pittsburg State University, USA (1995) and did her Master's degree at Wichita State University, Communications-Public Relations (1996).
She has international professional experiences. She started her career as a newspaper journalist in Pittsburg and Wichita, Kansas, USA. She was also working as Producer and Presenter of Radio Singapore International (Media Corp.) in Singapore.
But, mostly she was famous as Editor In Chief of Cosmopolitan-Indonesia magazine and digital. Proudly, bringing the magazine to its best by receiving an award: The Best Women's Magazine of The Year 2015 (by Scoop).

Along side with her brother, Rendy, now Hasna starts to grow with vibrant young individuals who share the same vision: digital media with Islamic point of view and values.

Strategy?

• Creating a community (called Hasnanesia) and having a routine community gathering and events. 
  
• Using hashtags: #BaikdanCantik (literally translated: Kind and Beautiful).
  
• Website launching and press conference will be in November 26, 2018.
  
• We believe Friday is an important day for Muslims, therefore we decided to make Friday a holiday so our employees could focus in their Friday Prayer, in exchange we boost our productivity and work more efficiently in only four working business days (In Indonesia, Friday is a working business day).
