Founded with a mission to advocate for Arab culture, the Arab Student Association at University of Cincinnati's is collaborating with Human Appeal (HA), a renowned global humanitarian organization with over 35 years of experience in delivering aid and development in Palestine. Together, we are launching a vital fundraising campaign aimed at addressing urgent needs and fostering long-term improvement in Palestinian communities.

The purpose of the Arab Student Association at UC is to bring together students of Arab origin and Arab cultural heritage together as well as students who are generally interested in Arab culture. We welcome all regardless of religious, ethnic, or national background. We hope to spread awareness about issues in the Arab world as well as celebrate our diverse culture that encompasses countries across the Middle East and North Africa.

Why This Campaign Matters

This campaign will initially focus on directly supporting orphaned children who have lost their families to conflict in Gaza where there has been over 25,000 new orphans due to the ongoing crisis. Our goal is to eventually grow our scope to include other vital areas like healthcare, water sanitation, food distribution and education, where we can address immediate needs while laying the foundation for long-term improvement. Your contribution helps provide stability and essential services, making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by hardship.

Our Campaign: Addressing Immediate Needs and Promoting Sustainable Solutions

This campaign focuses on:

Orphan Sponsorship: Many children in Palestine are orphaned due to ongoing conflict. Your contributions will provide them with essential resources, including food, clothing, medical care, and education, offering them support and stability.

Emergency Medical Relief: We aim to continue supplying critical resources to healthcare facilities, ensuring that they can provide effective and timely medical care.

Food Distribution: Expanding our food distribution efforts will help reach more families in need, alleviating hunger and supporting their daily nutritional needs.

Water and Sanitation: Investing in water purification and sanitation projects will enhance access to clean water, addressing a fundamental need for health and quality of life.
