The Toledo Islamic Academy (TIA) is the only Islamic school for students from grades K-12 in the state of Ohio, within 100 miles radius and 50 miles from the State of Michigan.

The population of Muslims is growing in the Toledo/Sylvania area. Our community needs to expand the school to accommodate the increasing enrolment of students each year. Currently, the elementary school building can accommodate 160 students.

Unfortunately, the school could not take any more students during 2021-2022. It is urgent to expand the school facility to be able to enrol more students.

The Expansion Project consists of constructing Elementary Building to accommodate 250 students from Pre-Kindergarten to 5th Grade with high standards and space requirements.

TIMEFRAME

With the blessings of Allah SWT and the support of our local community, the project construction began in June 2021 and is scheduled to be completed by December 2022.

PROJECT COST

The proposed TIA Elementary facility and the Social Hall estimated cost will be $5.5 million. The total space for both floors is 33,400 square-foot.

PROJECT FUNDING

This project will be funded totally from community donations INSHALLAH. At this time we have $2 Million collected and have a remaining balance of $3.5 Million to complete the project.

We need your help to make Islamic Education accessible in Ohio. Your gift helps the future generation of Muslims in Ohio and BEYOND!
