A Living Tradition: East to West

Inspired by the historic Dar al-Shifa situated within the Süleymaniye complex in Türkiye, where KC houses its international research center - we are transplanting a living Islamic institutional legacy into new soil.
 

Chicago is the heart of Khalil Center — where we:

• Export this work globally (Türkiye, Pakistan, India, Qatar, the Netherlands, and beyond)

It is a civilizational legacy — a sanctuary of healing we leave behind for generations we may never meet.

A purpose-built, full-fledged health campus with a professional graduate school, community education center, clinic, residential treatment services, a masjid  and more for comprehensive psycho-spiritual care.

*Zakat: Khalil Center's 100% zakat policy requires all Zakat donations be used exclusively for Zakat-Eligible clients’ services. We do not use zakat funding for any operational costs. Khalil Center is the agent that distributes the funds to providers directly for their sessions with zakat-eligible clients within the standard pay period for non-zakat clients (assuming the availability of zakat funds).

Khalil Center’s Zakat policies are per the four Sunni schools of Islamic law and are audited by the Dar al-Iftāʾ department at Darul Qasim (Glendale Heights, IL).

If your donation does not need to be zakat-eligible, consider giving a Sadaqah donation this Ramadan. Your generosity allows Khalil Center to respond where the need is greatest and maximize healing and impact.
