Join Us in Keeping Aysha Haider’s Legacy Alive Through a Philanthropic Fund
 

This fund plans to donate up to $60,000 annually in perpetuity to the Pehla Qadam Program at Indus Hospital. All funds will be invested in an endowment managed by American Muslim Community Foundation (AMCF). AMCF will manage the endowment grade investment portfolio and distribute funds annually. Aysha Haider (https://www.ayshahaider.com/) was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who devoted her life to helping anyone in need. Her warmth, generosity, and compassion touched countless lives, and her greatest passion was Pehla Qadam, a program dedicated to eradicating clubfoot in Pakistan. Under her guidance and support, Pehla Qadam (learn more here) made strides in providing children with the chance to walk and lead fulfilling lives.

This philanthropic fund has been established in her honor to ensure that her mission of helping others continues for generations to come. As Muslims, we believe that acts of charity and philanthropy on behalf of others grant continuous blessings (Sadaqah Jariyah) in the afterlife. By contributing to this cause, you are not only supporting children in need but also helping preserve Aysha Haider’s legacy of goodness and love, which will be rewarded eternally by Allah (SWT).

Pehla Qadam holds special meaning to the Haider family, as the initiative was born when Aysha’s granddaughter, Meher, was born with clubfoot.

“Dadi (grandmother) was my best friend and ultimate role model. She is the reason I try to live my life with love and compassion, thinking of others the way she always did. I miss her every single day, and my heart aches when I think of the moments we shared and how much she taught me. The one thing I can do now is carry on her legacy—because through her kindness and passion, she made the world a better place.

The Aysha Haider Legacy Fund will collect and strategically invest donations, creating an endless stream of wealth to sustain and grow Pehla Qadam’s life-changing work.
