Syria has been suffering from conflict and displacement for more than ten years. This has caused a major humanitarian crisis, with millions of people forced to leave their homes and live as internally displaced persons (IDPs) or refugees. The ongoing war has destroyed infrastructure, disrupted daily life, and created huge challenges for people. Many struggle to access basic needs such as safe housing, education, healthcare, and job opportunities.

Displaced Syrian families live in heart-breaking conditions in tents, which lack heating in the winter, cooling in the hot summers, and privacy. The stories of death and humiliation in these tents bring tears to the eye.

We believe we can do better to help bring these families stability, privacy, security, and an opportunity to overcome the cycle of pain by building a village for them.

Help build School in Syria

The school within the Hope Project in Syria will be able to take in up to 1,000 students, from kindergarten to high school. This will help the project reach and support even more people in the community.

HCI has been on the ground since the beginning of this crisis by offering help on various levels to bring stability back to the community. 

This year, in addition to offering skills training programs, food baskets, water projects, orphan care, and health services, Human Concern International will assist in building an entire village.

A blessing to a child is their parents. They provide them with the safe necessities to live a healthy and conducive life. However, according to UNICEF, there were an estimated 140 million orphans globally in 2020. This number includes children who have lost one or both parents due to various reasons such as conflict, disease, poverty, or natural disasters. Sadly, for millions of orphans worldwide, this vision of the future remains a distant hope. But within the confines of your generosity lies the power to transform their world.

This campaign is dedicated to fundraising on behalf of Human Concern International, a registered charity in Canada, the US, and the UK. The collected funds will be directed to this charity.
