Let us remember the orphans of Gaza and Syria—children who have lost one or both parents and are growing up amid conflict, displacement, and uncertainty.

Behind every orphan is a family struggling to cope with unimaginable hardship. In this video, a mother shares her story and how SGI’s support helped her provide for her orphaned children during one of the most difficult periods of their lives. Your sponsorship can help ensure that vulnerable children receive the care, stability, and support they need to grow, learn, and look toward the future with hope.

Sponsoring an orphan during these trying times is an opportunity to gain immense rewards.

Understanding the Crisis: Syria & Palestine

The Syrian War has produced over 2.5 million child refugees who are internally displaced. The recent renewal of Genocide in Palestine has killed over 80,000 people, leaving thousands of children orphaned.
Remember this: each number represents a life, a future, a dream waiting to be rekindled. This isn't just a statistic; it's a call to action.

What did the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) say about helping widows and the poor?

Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: The Prophet said, "One who strives to help the widows and the poor is like the one who fights in the way of Allah." The narrator added: "I shall regard him as the one who stands up (for prayer) without rest and as the one who observes fasts continuously." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
