Manik & Sefi Foundation http://maniksefifoundation.org is dedicated to parents & loved ones of all our donors!

What Does Manik & Sefi Foundation Do?

• We sponsor orphan & abandoned children like Abdullah. We stop child labour and pay the children instead to go to school.

• We teach coding & robotics to children from the lowest income households (i.e parents are maids, rickshawpullers, day labourers, chauffeurs & security guards, etc.).

• Our volunteers formed the JAAGO Robotics team with Korail slum students to build a robot & proudly represent Bangladesh at the VEX Robotics World Championship 2023!

Who are Manik & Sefi?

• Manik, recipient of the Shorojonu Naidu Gold Medal for Pioneer in Private Higher Education in 1995, is the nick name of late Mr. Muslehuddin Ahmad. He was the founder VC and Trustee at North South University. Known as the Father of the Private University Movement in Bangladesh, he was an Ambassador & Secretary to the Government of Bangladesh and a freedom fighter who risked his life to open the first consulate in Paris.
• Manik's loving wife was Sefi, the nick name of late Shaista Ahmad. She was also a founder Trustee at North South University, a Zoology professor at Dhaka College and Titumir College. She too joined hands with Manik as a freedom fighter in Paris. Together, they changed the landscape of development in Bangladesh.
• Manik & Sefi are my parents. This foundation is dedicated to them & to the parents (and loved ones) of all our donors as sadaka jariya.
