Join Us in Providing Urgent Relief to Gaza 

Background:  The Salams App, MOTW Coffee and Pious Projects have partnered up this Ramadan to unite hearts for Gaza. As the blessed month of Ramadan unfolds, we invite you to be a beacon of hope for the resilient hearts of Gaza.

Our hearts are heavy with the plight of our brothers and sisters in Gaza. The region is facing a severe humanitarian crisis and the on-ground conditions are tragically incomprehensible. 

The Situation in Gaza: 

Gaza, a 20-mile strip of land in Palestine, is home to nearly two million people. For over a decade, Gaza has been under a blockade, severely limiting access to essential goods and services. The blockade has had a devastating impact on the economy, infrastructure, and living conditions in Gaza, pushing its citizens to the brink of humanitarian catastrophe. But now, their suffering has reached unimaginable heights.

In the past few months, Gazans have experienced violence and displacement. The people of Gaza are gripped by starvation, disease, and homelessness. The healthcare system has collapsed. Humanitarian aid is often prohibited from reaching them and trapped at the border. However,  Pious Projects, through their relationships and strong networks, can bring aid in to Gaza even under these restrictions. 

Our Response: This Ramadan, Salams, MOTW Coffee and Pious Projects are partnering to raise 100K (USD) in emergency relief to the people of Gaza. Our focus is on providing emergency kits that include essential items such as diapers, toothbrushes, menstrual pads, nail clippers, shampoo, conditioner, baby wipes, loofahs, bleach, tissues and more. These items are crucial for maintaining personal hygiene and preventing the spread of disease, especially in the current challenging circumstances.
