WATER FOR PAKISTAN:

In Pakistan, the water crisis is stark, with over 22 million people lacking access to water near their homes.

 In rural communities with chronic water shortages, we’re establishing solar-powered wells, providing clean, potable water for 250 people per well. The depth of the water well is 150 ft, discharging 30 litres of water per minute. The average life of this well is around 20 years, benefitting local communities for years to come. 

We are also installing locally-made water handpumps in the most deprived areas of District Kot Addu, South Punjab, Pakistan. Each handpump will be installed at a depth of up to 70 ft and will have the capacity of discharging water at the rate of 30 to 35 litres per minute. It is estimated that nearly 10% of the direct beneficiaries will be vulnerable people with disabilities.

PLANTING TREES IN PAKISTAN:

Through our tree plantation, we can help promote environmental sustainability by increasing green cover in Pakistan. The Green Futures initiative involves planting native trees within the campuses of universities and colleges across Pakistan. Students and volunteers will be engaged in the plantation drives, nurturing the trees, and participating in workshops on environmental conservation. 

By involving and co-creating with students and academic institutions, we hope to foster environmental awareness and a sense of providing greener, healthier spaces for future generations.
