We're funding 25 university graduates in Gaza with remote tech jobs to provide them with experience, income, and hope

We match Gaza's unemployed tech graduates with paid remote internships at real companies — your donation funds their stipend, and internet for 4 months.

Gaza is still struggling to exist. That struggle is not just ending the genocide, but also preparing for a future.

Opportunities remain scarce. An entire generation of talented young people face a future with few pathways to work, contribute, and help rebuild their communities.

This is where Gaza’s technology sector offers hope.

Unlike many industries, technology can connect Gaza’s talented graduates to opportunities around the world. A software engineer in Gaza can contribute to meaningful projects remotely, gain valuable experience, earn an income, and create economic growth despite the immense challenges on the ground.

Thousands of Gaza’s brightest graduates are ready. What they need now is an opportunity.

Through the Gaza Tech Mentorship (GTM) Internship Program, recent graduates in Gaza are connected with mission-driven organizations and businesses around the world. We fund their internships, provide professional mentorship, and help them gain the experience needed to launch successful careers.

By supporting this initiative, you are helping young professionals take their first steps into the global workforce while contributing to the long-term recovery of Gaza’s economy.

Why This Matters

Many of Gaza's recent graduates have persevered through displacement, interrupted education, and extraordinary hardship. They now deserve the chance to gain professional experience.

Without work experience, future opportunities are lost. Without income, families lose stability and valuable talent goes untapped at precisely the moment Gaza needs skilled professionals the most.

Every internship builds confidence, supports a family, and strengthens the foundations of a resilient Palestinian economy.

Our Impact So Far

In just a few months, the GTM Impact Internship Program has placed 3 interns in Gaza with 3 organisations — working on real projects, earning real income, and building real careers:

  1. Ahmed Ghanem, a Mobile Developer Intern, with AweenRayeh, using technology to help Palestinians navigate occupation checkpoints in the West Bank.
  2. Elham Elshami, Web Developer Intern, with Lina's Thobe, digitising Palestinian cultural heritage.
  3. Ahmed Elkhateeb, Data Scientist Intern, with SyncVR Medical, building AI to help patients in hospitals across Europe.

With your support, we want to grow from 3 interns to hundreds — building a thriving remote tech hub in Gaza that generates opportunity, income, and resilience for an entire generation of Palestinian professionals.

How the Program Works

GTM recruits, matches, and provides each intern with a dedicated volunteer mentor. Apricot International handles contracts, compliance, and payments. Hands for Charity stewards donations from this campaign to pay for internship salaries.

Each placement runs for up to 4 months — and we prioritise employers who may offer permanent roles afterwards, turning internships into lasting careers.

Your donation becomes a job. A job becomes a future.
