Rebuilding Gaza: Restoring Dignity and Hope After the Ceasefire

“The bombs have stopped — but the suffering hasn’t.”

After two years of relentless bombardment, Gaza is finally witnessing a fragile ceasefire. But for thousands of families, this pause in violence doesn’t mean peace, it means standing among the ruins of their homes, searching for food, clean water, and medicine for their children.

The human toll is staggering.
Over 67,000 Palestinians have been killed, most of them civilians. Another 169,000 have been injured, and more than 14,000 people remain missing or trapped under the rubble. Nearly 2.1 million people, almost Gaza’s entire population, have been displaced, and 92% of homes have been damaged or destroyed. Hospitals, schools, and water systems lie in ruins, and over 80% of Gaza’s infrastructure no longer functions.

Families are surviving in tents made from scraps, drinking contaminated water, and struggling to find medicine and baby formula. This is not recovery; this is survival in the aftermath of devastation.

Now, as the ceasefire holds, we must act, not just to save lives, but to rebuild them.

Human Appeal: On the Ground Since 1991

For over three decades, Human Appeal has been present in Gaza, standing with its people through war, siege, and displacement. Since October 2023, we’ve delivered over 7.2 million hot meals, 1 million food parcels, and daily water supplies, while providing medical aid, mobile clinics, and temporary shelter to families in desperate need.

Now, we are entering the next phase of our mission, Rebuilding Gaza.

Tents — $500
Thousands are without shelter. Your donation contributes to the fund providing durable tents, offering families safety, privacy, and hope amid destruction.

Every donation you give today becomes part of Gaza’s recovery — turning despair into hope.

Why Now?

The ceasefire has opened a critical but fragile window of opportunity. Access routes are beginning to reopen, allowing humanitarian supplies to enter, but this moment may not last long. The faster we act, the more lives we can reach with shelter, food, and medicine. Your donation ensures Human Appeal’s teams on the ground remain ready, stocked, and able to deliver aid immediately, helping Gaza’s families begin their long journey toward rebuilding.

Together, We Can Rebuild Gaza

The people of Gaza have endured unimaginable loss, yet their faith and resilience remain unbroken. Let’s be part of their healing. Let’s rebuild hope, restore dignity, and help them rise again.
