Established in 1938, QUBA Institute is believed to be one of the oldest indigenous masjids in the US. Over the past 80 years our commitment has been to lay and develop the foundation for the development of Muslim community life in the city of Philadelphia. Through our educational programming, leadership development, and our commitment to serving the community, we have been blessed to make our mark across our history. As we approach the 100-year milestone, our desire is to expand the scope of our influence and service. Our prayer is that the generation to come is inspired to continue to honor their spiritual legacy and continue to serve people for the pleasure of Allah. 

Currently we are involved in a three-year expansion plan. The goal of the first part is to repair and restore the foundation of our existing facility.
