Every year, people the world over say the words that change everything. They take their shahada. And then, for far too many, the phone goes quiet. The crowd that gathered to witness disperses. The questions that arrive at two in the morning have no one to answer them. A person who has just crossed the greatest threshold of their life is left, at the most important moment, to stand alone.

One Light International exists so that they do not.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) built on a single conviction: that taking shahada is a beginning, not a finish line. The measure of our work is not how many declarations we can count. It is how many Muslims stand a year later, and five years later, grounded in their faith and carrying it to others. Quality over quantity. Formation over numbers. A new Muslim who is still praying, still learning, still belonging, is worth more than any statistic could ever be.

Sabeely is how we keep that promise, and how we keep it at scale.

Sabeely is our flagship application, and it is the definitive next step for every new Muslim. Not a supplement. The next step. It is built around three movements that mirror the journey itself. Belong, so no convert is ever alone. Learn, so that faith rests on knowledge and not on mood. Excel, so that a new Muslim moves from surviving to excelling, and in time becomes the one who guides the next arrival. A convert opens the app on the day of their shahada and finds a community waiting, a path laid out, and a mentor who has walked it. That is the whole idea. No one left to figure it out alone.

Around Sabeely, One Light is building the rest of what a durable mission requires. Du'āt raised as leaders native to the communities they serve, so the work self-perpetuates rather than depending on any one person. A proof-of-concept already taking shape in Malawi. And the governance a serious organization owes its donors: financial controls, safeguarding, and compliance built in as defaults, not afterthoughts.

Today we are asking you to help us build & develop Sabeely application along with our back-end portal and open our doors. Our website is up and running and we are pleased to do a demo for interested parties to see the application and backend dashboards.
