We are organising a 400-mile ride to raise funds and deliver urgent flood relief in Pakistan, where thousands of families are left without food, shelter, or safety.

Since 2015, Hope Welfare Trust has been actively working to reach the overlooked and unheard communities of Azad Kashmir. Over nearly a decade, we have been at the forefront of emergency response and providing year-round support to families. As people who belong to Azad Kashmir ourselves, we understand what it means to see homes destroyed by natural disasters, families left without food or shelter, and entire communities forced to rebuild from nothing. That is why we've been working tirelessly to address people's urgent needs while honouring their dignity during their darkest hours.

Through your support, we have been able to achieve the following for the vulnerable during crises and to help them come back stronger:

• A fully equipped hospital in Prahi Amban, Azad Kashmir, providing 24/7 medical care
• Food packages to widows, orphans, and families who are unable to afford meals
• Housing for displaced families, giving shelter to those who had lost everything
• Clean water facilities to help prevent the spread of disease

As we reach more and more families, the need still remains. With the floods in Pakistan, the situation is even worse. Countless people are left under open skies without food or shelter. Hope Welfare Trust is aiming to raise funds through a 400-mile bicycle campaign to provide urgent relief and help families rebuild their livesBut it is only possible with the support of people like you.

Why Does It Matter?

In recent weeks, devastating floods have erupted across Pakistan, sweeping away homes, livestock, and livelihoods. Entire communities and villages have been erased, and people are forced to abandon their belongings and move to far-off regions.

Regions already marked by poverty and hardship are now facing an unimaginable crisis. Since the start of the monsoon season, more than 645 lives have been lost, and in August alone, 321 people were killed. The destruction goes far beyond lives lost. Entire livelihoods have been wiped out. Fertile agricultural lands have turned into marshes, cattle have been swept away by raging waters, and families have nothing left to survive on.

The biggest struggle begins after the water recedes. Diseases spread quickly in stagnant water, hunger grows as crops are destroyed, and homelessness leaves thousands exposed to the elements. Without urgent support, the suffering will only multiply.

What Will the Ride Cover?

From Aberdeen to Dewsbury, this 400-mile journey is a mission to deliver hope to communities that have left none. Between the 22nd and 25th of August, riders will cover 100 miles each day, riders will cover 100 miles each day, pushing themselves to the limit so that families in Pakistan don’t have to face flood crises alone. Every mile brings us closer to food on their tables, shelter over their heads, and the chance to rebuild their lives.

This ride is happening here in the UK. But its impact will be felt across the towns, cities, and villages in Pakistan. Your contribution will help save lives.

Start: Aberdeen

Finish: Dewsbury

Date: 22nd – 25th August

How Can You Make a Difference?

Provide a family with essential nutrition and basic shelter. This comprehensive package ensures they have food for weeks and protection while they work to rebuild their lives.

Essential Relief Pack – £50
