Bismillah! 

Something truly amazing has been brewing behind the scenes & Masjid Abu Bakr (Walthamstow) are proud to announce that not only are we planning on extending & refurbishing the new house but we will be adding 2 other big plans into ONE EXPANSION PROJECT and the best thing is we hope to start by end of July 2025, while madrasah students are away insha'Allah.

Project 1 is the Sisters Centre but we will also now carry out Project 2 immediately after, creating better wudhu facilities and moving them away from the main masjid entrance (long overdue) and even better is that we will be opening up the courtyard (Project 3), giving the imams a new office and meeting room insha'Allah. Finally we hope to have a new courtyard roof extended as close the entrance gate as possible so watch this space and make dua for the success of these plans. 

This is the biggest change planned for the masjid in over 30 years so just imagine Masjid Abu Bakr with these improved facilities for brothers, sisters, children and people of all ages. With your continued support and duas and with the help of Allah (Al-Wahhab, The Giver) WE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN!

The total cost of the combined projects is around £200k so our Mission is to raise a much needed £100,000 by the end of Oct 2025 insha'Allah.

We're asking for just £50 a share, £500 per family or any amount you can give for the sake of Allah (swt). Give for yourself, your family members, parents & grandparents if you are able to.

Picture this – a more open & welcoming courtyard, more classrooms, top class space for sisters to enjoy and somewhere new for the youth to come for events and remain connected to the Masjid PLUS more room for Jummah prayers for brothers too, so nobody misses out!

Monthly Direct Debit: Pledge a little every month for the next 3 months to spread the donation.

Qarz e Hasanah: If you can lend the Masjid an interest free loan to help us to ensure there is no financial struggle towards the end of the project. 
Share and create awareness: Spread the word with your friends & family so they can also gain some ajar and help us all in the process. Sharing is caring!
