My name is Uzma Sharaf. I am the Founder of Adult Spiritual Education program based on Psycho-spiritual Model of Learning. Today, Adult Spiritual Education Program (ASEP) is a growing global community. We are committed to nurturing hearts, expanding minds, and supporting sincere spiritual seekers. Although our reach is expanding, our mission is just beginning. To serve our increasing student body and fulfill our vision, ASEP must continue to grow and evolve.

 We serve those who are new to Islam, exploring Islamic teachings, or seeking a deeper path of spiritual development.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “There is no one who goes out of his house in order to seek knowledge, but the angels lower their wings in approval of his action.” (Ibn Maja 226 - Grade: Hasan)

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever goes out seeking knowledge, then he is in Allah’s cause until he returns.” (Tirmizi 2754 - Grade: Daif)

For newcomers to Islam, We provides a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment to begin their journey for spiritual growth and learning.

For advanced students and seekers, we offers specialized Spiritual development courses that deepen understanding and foster meaningful spiritual growth.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

وَمَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَمَا اجْتَمَعَ قَوْمٌ فِي بَيْتٍ مِنْ بُيُوتِ اللَّهِ يَتْلُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَيَتَدَارَسُونَهُ بَيْنَهُمْ إِلاَّ نَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّكِينَةُ وَغَشِيَتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ وَحَفَّتْهُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ وَذَكَرَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ

Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. People do not gather in the houses of Allah, reciting the book of Allah and studying it together, but that tranquility will descend upon them, mercy will cover them, angels will surround them, and Allah will mention them to those near him.

CHALLENGES

1. Pressure to fit into community culturally rather than spiritually.
2. Seeking Guidance that is rooted in spiritual wisdom rather than harsh judgment.
3. Many converts, newcomers, and seekers feel spiritually isolated
4. Longing for mentorship, connection, and a place where they truly belong.
5. Fear of loosing relationships, hostility and disapproval. 
6. Do not have structured program that follow up and facilitate spiritual growth.
7. Feel like outsiders culturally or socially.
8. Unable to find suitable mentors or study resources.
9. Western-educated professionals Muslims—struggle to access reliable, traditional Islamic knowledge in English.

This campaign is the next chapter of our story. This is more than just a project — it is an investment in future generations. A ṣadaqah jāriyah, a continuous charity, that will spread authentic Islamic knowledge and make it accessible to those who may otherwise never have the opportunity to learn. Every dollar contributed becomes a seed planted for a thriving, spiritually grounded community for those seeking deeper spiritual connection or build bridges..

In another narration, the Prophet said:

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّمَا الْعِلْمُ بِالتَّعَلُّمِ وَالْفِقْهُ بِالتَّفَقُّهِ وَمَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ وَإِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ

O people, knowledge only comes by learning and understanding only comes by seeking understanding. For whomever Allah intends good, he gives him understanding of the religion. Verily, only those with knowledge fear Allah among his servants. (35:28)
