In the Sufi tradition, cats are honored creatures of mercy. The Prophet ﷺ and his companions showed deep compassion to cats, and many Sufi saints were known to keep cats close as symbols of barakah and peace.
This project honors that tradition by providing holistic, halal animal care—with love, cleanliness, and community responsibility at its core.
💖 “Whoever is merciful even to a sparrow, Allah will be merciful to them on the Day of Judgment.” — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
We are raising $1,000 by May 31, 2025 to care for the beloved cats who live at the Fenton Zawiyah farm—a spiritual retreat center in Michigan. These cats have long been our gentle companions during dhikr, Mawlid, and farm work. But after a harsh winter and lack of resources, our cat colony urgently needs care.
Every dollar you give goes toward:
💉 Medical care for sick & pregnant cats
🍼 Fostering and rehoming kittens
🛡️ Preventing diseases like distemper, rabies, worms, and fleas
🍽️ Feeding & hydration stations
🙋 Organizing local volunteers
🧼 Supplies for safe and sanitary cat zones
With your support, we hope to:
🏕️ Build insulated cat shelters & heated beds for harsh Michigan winters
🧑🌾 Launch a volunteer-run feeding program
🐾 Start a regional fostering network to rehome kittens
📚 Offer educational programs on holistic and halal pet care in the USA
Help us create a sanctuary of peace for these animals who ask for nothing but love.
Even $5 helps us buy food, treat an illness, or build a shelter.
