Usul Academy is a higher education institution that aims to deliver classical madrasah education, as well as contemporary subjects within an Islamic framework. Our courses are offered online for students across the globe, with opportunities for face-to-face learning in Istanbul. Usul Academy is a non-profit organization registered in the United States.

Usul Academy builds on the centuries-long tradition of Islamic education, particularly the Ottoman heritage. Yet it employs the most recent technology to provide traditional Islamic education with a comparative perspective to a global audience through “blended education,” which combines online and face-to-face education (summer retreats in Istanbul).

Usul Academy is committed to accepting the most academically qualified applicants into the BA & MA programs, regardless of their financial situation. Your donations are crucial in helping us realize this commitment.

In line with our commitment to ensuring that no student is turned away due to financial constraints, we provide financial aid to 65 out of our 161 students, with an average scholarship covering 73% of their tuition.
