In The Name Of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful
Presently, there is no Mosque, cemetery, Imaam, or even an organized and established Muslim Community. For years we have been praying in warehouses or other rented spaces, especially for Jumua'h Prayer and during the month of Ramadan.
The project site is located in Sabana Basora, Aruba (Dutch Caribbean). The land on which the Mosque will be built was assigned to The Aruba Islamic Foundation by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Aruba, thereby the overall initial financial costs of the project were considerably reduced. (May Allah reward them immensely). Since then, planning and construction permits were sought from the Local Authorities and with the permission of Allah, we have started with the construction.

The budget to build the Mosque is US $500.000 and we have already raised US $ 263.059 and are in need of US $ 236.941 to complete our Mosque project, which will make it completely self-sustained. We will collect the money in phases and any amount of donation will be highly appreciated. You can also contribute by passing this message on to other brothers and sisters and your network.

Aruba is a 33 km-long Island of the Lesser Antilles in the Southern Caribbean Sea, Located 27 km north of the coast of Venezuela. Together with Bonaire and Curaçao it forms a group referred to as the ABC islands of the Dutch Antilles.
Aruba has close to 60 Muslim families and three medical Universities which consist of many Muslims students and is visited by a lot of tourists, as tourism is the pillar of its economy.
The Muslim community of the island is conformed by people from different nationalities such as Lebanese, Syrians, Nigerians, Egyptians, Canadians, Americans, Guyanese, Malaysians, Indonesians, Surinamese, Trinidadians, Venezuelans, Colombians and of course, many from Aruba.
For years we have been praying in warehouses or other rented spaces, especially for Jumua'h Prayer and during the month of Ramadan.

In 2014, with help from our brothers and sisters from New York, Canada and Trinidad, we were able to buy a piece of land to build our Mosque. Though the building process started, unfortunately, we were forced to stop because the land we bought was not in the zone that allowed the construction of a mosque on the premises.
Now, we have a legally designated piece of land to build the Mosque and we don't want you to miss this great opportunity of contributing in the construction of a house to pray to Allah on this already blessed island. InshaaAllah.
