A health and hygiene crisis threatens millions. Waterborne diseases are spreading rapidly as sanitation systems collapse. Hospitals have been destroyed, medicine is scarce, and millions are displaced, living in makeshift shelters without access to clean water or food.

The Reality on the Ground:

Over 30 million people need humanitarian assistance — more than two-thirds of Sudan’s population.

Half of the country faces a food crisis, and over 750,000 people are on the brink of famine.

11.5 million people have been displaced — the largest displacement crisis in the world.

80% of hospitals in conflict zones are out of service, leaving families without medical care.

Diseases like malaria, malnutrition, tuberculosis, and cholera are spreading due to the collapse of healthcare and sanitation systems.

This is not just a crisis of hunger — it’s a crisis of survival. Without urgent help, families will continue to die from preventable causes such as infection, malnutrition, and lack of basic hygiene.

Our Response on the Ground

Human Appeal is in Sudan providing life-saving healthcare, food, clean water, clothing, and shelter to families displaced by the conflict.

✅ Healthcare: Our mobile clinic in Madani, Al Jazeera State delivers critical medical care to displaced people, treating malaria, malnutrition, tuberculosis, and waterborne diseases. It also offers mental health support, maternal care, and psychological aid for trauma survivors.

✅ Nutrition & Food Security: We distribute hot meals, bread deliveries, and monthly food parcels to help families facing starvation.

✅ Clothing & Shelter: We’re providing clothing to 12,000 displaced people, emergency shelter, and blankets for protection from harsh weather.

✅ Orphan Support: We care for children across five orphanages, ensuring they receive food, healthcare, and safety during this humanitarian disaster.

✅ Women’s Hygiene Kits: Displaced women and girls are among the most vulnerable. Our hygiene kits include sanitary pads, soap, toothbrushes, towels, and essential supplies to help them stay healthy and maintain dignity even in displacement.
