Our History

Established in 2003, Ibn Seena Academy has proudly served students in the Greater Orlando area (including Orange, Osceola, Lake, and Seminole counties) for over two decades, providing a comprehensive education from Pre-K through 12th grade. We have grown from 40 students initially to serving nearly 350 students in grades PK-12th. Since our inception, we have been committed to our mission of guiding students to become productive, upstanding citizens, instilling firm moral and ethical values, and delivering a high-quality education. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we are dedicated to serving our community and providing accessible education.

Our Mission: Seeking the Pleasure of Allah (SWT)

At Ibn Seena Academy, our mission is centered on the pleasure of Allah through an exceptional integrated curriculum. We bridge the gap between spiritual devotion and academic excellence by providing:

• A Robust Religious Foundation: A comprehensive Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Quran program where students do more than memorize—they develop a deep understanding of the Quran’s meaning and its application in their lives.
• Rigorous Academic Standards: A curriculum that consistently exceeds state standards, fostering intellectual curiosity and character development.
• Holistic Growth: From academic clubs like Robotics, Math, and Newsletter to enrichment in Art, Sewing, and Typing, we prepare students to be well-rounded global citizens who carry a lifelong love for Islam.

Proven Academic Excellence

By the grace of Allah, our dedicated faculty provides high-quality instruction that yields remarkable results:

• Award-Winning Students: In February 2026, 100% of our students who entered the Dr. Nelson Ying Orange County Science Exposition received top honors—achieved even without a dedicated science lab on our current campus.
• Associate Degrees at Graduation: Through our dual-enrollment framework, our students graduate high school with an Associate degree already in hand.
• A Legacy of Success: Our alumni have earned scholarships to prestigious universities and built successful careers in medicine, engineering, and education. We are especially honored that many return to Ibn Seena as teachers and mentors for the next generation.

Help Us Expand Our Reach!

By the mercy of Allah, Ibn Seena Academy has outgrown its humble beginnings. Our current facility has reached maximum capacity, and we now face a lengthy waiting list of families eager for an Islamic education.

To meet this demand, we are seeking a larger campus. However, the cost of suitable commercial properties in our area now exceeds $20 million. Currently, we have raised less than 25% of what is needed to secure our new home.

Your Investment as Sadaqa Jariyah

Your contribution to our building fund is more than a donation—it is a Sadaqa Jariyah. This continuous act of charity will, Insha Allah, bring you ongoing rewards for generations to come as children continue to learn and grow in a space you helped build.

How You Can Help:
