Help Build the Ahlulbayt Sisters Mawkib 2026!

A space by sisters, for sisters - We're Back.

Last year, you helped bring a vision to life.

Because of your generosity, hundreds of women found a place of comfort, privacy and support during the London Arbaeen Procession. Mothers had somewhere to nurse their babies. Sisters could adjust their hijab with dignity. Women found a quiet place to pray, rest and continue their journey.

This year, we're back.

On Sunday 9th August, Ahlulbayt Sisters will once again be establishing a dedicated Sisters Mawkib - a welcoming space created entirely around the needs of women.

Our aim is simple: to provide a place where sisters can nurse their children in privacy, fix their hijab, perform their prayers, rest during the walk, and access free women's essentials whenever they need them.

To bring this vision to life, we're raising £1,500 to help cover the materials, equipment and operational costs needed to deliver the Mawkib on the day.

How your donation could help

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us move one step closer to creating this space.

• £5 could contribute towards everyday women's essentials, including sanitary products, safety pins and tissues.
• £10 could help us stock refreshments and practical supplies for sisters, mothers and volunteers throughout the day.
• £20 could contribute towards creating welcoming spaces for prayer, nursing and rest through furnishings and practical equipment.
• £50 could help fund essential equipment such as tables, partitions, storage, seating and other items needed to operate the Mawkib.
• £100 could contribute towards our Mawkib presence, including banners, flags, signage and printed materials so sisters can easily find us.
• £300 could make a significant contribution towards the infrastructure and operational costs of the Mawkib, including the tent, transport, equipment and logistics required to bring everything together.

Every donation is combined with others to help fund the overall delivery of the Sisters Mawkib.

Whether you give £5 or £300, you're helping create a space where women can experience Arbaeen with greater comfort, dignity and support.
