There are approximately 50,000 to 75,000 Uyghur refugees currently residing in Turkey. These individuals have fled from severe repression and alleged human rights abuses in China, seeking safety and stability in Turkey. This community, including many vulnerable women and children, faces unique challenges and relies heavily on humanitarian assistance for their basic needs.

At Humanity-Increased, we are committed to empowering Uyghur refugee families by providing sustainable support. We are opening the first food pantry in Turkey specifically for Uyghur refugees, where widows and orphans, along with the most vulnerable members of the community, can choose the food they need, rather than relying on impersonal handouts. This pantry will be a great resource, ensuring that those who have already struggled so much can find some security and comfort.

Our vision extends to offering micro-financing and business loans, with a special focus on encouraging widowed women to start their own businesses and achieve self-sufficiency.
