Reach Out & Provide Timely Relief to the Victims of Hurricane Harvey

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

“The most beloved people to Allah are those who are the most beneficial to people.”

By the Grace of Allah ALL the major Muslim organizations in Houston, National Muslim organizations and our community leaders have united for the sake of humanity. With unanimous consent, we have all come together with The Islamic Society of Greater Houston to create this fund for those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Please help your organizations fulfill their role in this unprecedented crisis!

“Whosoever alleviates [the lot of] a needy person, Allah will alleviate [his lot] in this world and the next.”

Our Prophet (pbuh) also said: “That I walk with a brother regarding a need is more beloved to me than that I seclude myself in this mosque in Medina for a month.”

We are making sincere efforts to arrange volunteers,  raise money, provide shelter & food as well as  medical relief to the victims so they can get back to their normal lives quickly and efficiently inshaAllah!

Our Pledge

With the unanimous approval of all our participating organizations, The Islamic Society of Greater Houston will collect the funds on behalf of all affiliates. 

All the funds will be donated to the victims of this disaster.

Donations are eligible for Zakat. Please make sure you state your designation.
