Help Restore Gary Muslim Center After the Storm

The recent hurricane that affected Gary and Lake County, Indiana, has left Gary Muslim Center facing urgent repairs. Our masjid is currently relying on a generator for electricity while we work through the damage caused by the storm.

The roof needs repair, storm debris has created safety concerns for worshippers, and adjacent properties owned by the masjid were also affected. These damages have placed an additional burden on a community that already depends on the masjid as a place of prayer, connection, and support.

Gary Muslim Center serves as more than a building. It is a sacred space where community members gather for salah, families find fellowship, and neighbors can access care and support. Restoring the masjid means protecting a place that helps hold our community together.

Our first recovery goal is $45,000. Donations will help us:
