But for over one million Rohingya refugees living in the camps of Cox’s Bazar, Eid comes without meat, without celebration, and often without hope.

These families have fled violence, lost their homes, and now survive in overcrowded camps with limited access to food. For many, the only time they eat meat in a year is during Eid al-Adha. This is where your Qurbani becomes more than an obligation. It becomes relief. It becomes dignity. It becomes a moment of joy for families who have endured years of hardship.

Project Details & Transparency

To ensure your sacrifice is performed with the utmost care and Shariah compliance, our 2026 project follows these strict guidelines:

Location: All sacrifices and meat distributions take place exclusively within the Rohingya Refugee Camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.

Animals Offered: We provide healthy, locally sourced Cows (shares and full animals) and Goats.

Pricing:

Cow Share: $120 per share (7 shares per cow)

Full Cow: $840

Goat/Small Animal: $180

Expected Slaughter Dates: Sacrifices will begin on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, following the Eid al-Adha prayer in Bangladesh. Distribution will continue through the days of Tashreeq (May 28th and 29th).

Donating on Behalf of Others: If you wish to perform your Qurbani for a loved one, please include their name in the "Notes" section at checkout so our team can make the proper intention (Niyyah).

At Rohingya Hope Initiative, we are working directly with Rohingya communities to ensure your Qurbani reaches those who need it most. With trusted teams on the ground, we organise the sacrifice locally and distribute fresh meat directly to vulnerable families across Cox’s Bazar.

Our goal this year is simple but urgent: to deliver Qurbani meat to thousands of Rohingya families who otherwise would not have it. 

Because for them, 

Eid is not guaranteed. 

Food is not guaranteed. 

Dignity is not guaranteed.

The Prophet ﷺ reminded us that Qurbani is a yearly duty for those who are able, a powerful act of devotion and compassion. And Allah says:

لَن يَنَالَ اللَّهَ لُحُومُهَا وَلَا دِمَاؤُهَا وَلَٰكِن يَنَالُهُ التَّقْوَىٰ مِنكُمْ

“Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is your piety.” (Qur’an 22:37)
