One man. One lifetime. Roughly 6,800 rulings across some 22,000 pages, answering everything from purity and prayer to trade and inheritance, beliefs, medicine, even astronomy and mathematics. This is the Fatawa Ridawiyya, the 30-volume masterpiece of Aʿlā Ḥaḍrat, Imam Ahmad Rida Khan (ʿalayhi al-raḥmah). And remarkably, the work of a single scholar.
To see how rare that is, consider a comparable work: Fatawa al-Hindiyya, which took a committee of more than fifty scholars to produce. Aʿlā Ḥaḍrat did his alone. And what survives is only a fraction of what he wrote: perhaps fifteen years of output, with much of the rest lost forever, sent out as answers before a single copy was ever kept.
He was the scholar other scholars turned to. Of the questions preserved here, more than a thousand came not from the average person but from muftis, teachers and men of learning, hundreds of them, all seeking his ruling and guidance. Some of his answers fill just a few lines. Others run to hundreds of pages, dense with references and threaded throughout with insights and conclusions you will find in no other book.
For more than a century, this treasury has guided the Muslims of the subcontinent. Yet because it was written primarily in Urdu, its value has stayed locked away from the wider Ummah, behind a veil of language.
Now, it’s time that veil was lifted.
This work has never been translated in full. And given the scale of the project, it may never be attempted again. You are alive at the moment it is being done, giving you the opportunity to secure your place in history and continuous reward.
Arabic is the shared language of Islamic scholarship. By rendering all 30 volumes into it, we open the doors of this treasure to the institutions, universities and jurists who could never reach it before, from Morocco to Indonesia.
By the grace of Allah, 7 of the 30 volumes are already nearing completion. The team is assembled, the method is proven, the momentum is real. This translation will, by the will of Allah, be finished and placed into the hands of scholars across the Arab world.
So the real question is not whether the work will be done. It is whether you will have secured your share of the reward before it is.

A work of this significance cannot be rushed, nor entrusted to just anyone. Every member of the team has been handpicked and extensively vetted, chosen for both their scholarly credentials and their command of the languages involved. Around the clock, a dedicated team of 20 is giving this work the care it demands:
2 senior academic supervisors
5 expert translators
5 skilled typists
3 meticulous proofreaders
5 critical editors

Translating a masterpiece of this size takes patient, meticulous work, and your donation funds the entire process. Here is exactly where every pound goes:
Fair wages for the team, so our translators, editors and supervisors can give this their full days rather than their spare hours.
Research access to rare historical manuscripts and digital libraries, so every quote and reference can be checked against the original.
Publishing and software, giving our typists and designers the specialist tools to format this work as beautifully as it deserves.
The beloved Prophet ﷺ stated regarding charity: "When a man (or woman) dies, his acts come to an end, but three: recurring charity, or knowledge (by which people benefit), or a pious child, who prays for him (for the deceased)."
Through supporting this project, you will receive the reward of all three categories!
Every ruling read, every student taught, every question answered from these volumes for as long as they exist, by the will of Allah; its reward continues to reach you. Give once; earn reward continuously.
Share the link with family, friends, and study circles or set up your own fundraising campaign.
Preserver of Knowledge
The Prophet ﷺ informed us: "When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them." Secure lasting reward by helping preserve and spread beneficial knowledge.
