Help Us Build Cambourne’s First Masjid – A Legacy of Faith

For 15 years, the Muslim community in Cambourne has been longing for a place to call our own - a Masjid where we can pray together, learn our Deen, and nurture the next generation in an Islamic environment. But today, despite our best efforts, Cambourne still has no Masjid.

We are a growing town on the outskirts of Cambridge, home to over 1,200 Muslims, yet the nearest Masjid is 15-20 miles away - too far for our children and elderly to attend regularly.

Alhamdulillah, with your support, we have raised enough to purchase land, but we now face a greater challenge - we have no funds left to build. This Ramadan, in this blessed month of giving, we turn to you for help.

Why This Masjid Matters

• A Place for Salah: No more struggling to find a space for Jumu’ah and daily prayers.
• A Home for Our Children’s Islamic Education: Our Sunday school, which serves 150 students, currently runs in rented premises. A Masjid will provide a stable learning environment.
• A Hub for Our Youth: Our Tech Club fosters learning and innovation, helping our children grow in both faith and skills.
• A Centre for Outreach & Community Support: We provide food banks, refugee support, and interfaith services, but we need a permanent base to serve better.

A Sadaqah Jariyah Like No Other

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Jannah." (Bukhari, Muslim)

This is an opportunity to invest in your Akhirah—a continuous charity that will benefit generations to come. Every salah, every Qur’an lesson, every act of worship in this Masjid will be part of your reward, In’sha’Allah.
