Restoring Hope, Building Futures

Ashbāl Al-Ummah x Rethink Charity – Afghanistan Deployment 2026

On 15th June, Ashbāl Al-Ummah, in partnership with Rethink Charity, will be deploying to Afghanistan as part of our "Restoring Hope, Building Futures" campaign.

Together, we will be meeting orphan and widow families affected by war and poverty, delivering life-changing projects designed not only to provide relief, but to create long-term opportunities and sustainable livelihoods.

Your donations will help us provide:

• Sewing machines for widows, enabling them to work from home, earn an income, and support their children with dignity.
• Goats for vulnerable families, providing milk for nutrition and a sustainable source of income through sales.
• Cargo motorcycles and transport vehicles for young adults from orphan and widow households, helping them start businesses, transport goods, and provide for their families.
• Support for vulnerable families who have lost their main breadwinner and are striving to rebuild their lives.

Across vulnerable communities, many widows, orphans, and young adults have lost their fathers, husbands, and providers to war and conflict.

Entire households are struggling without a breadwinner. Rather than creating dependence on aid, this campaign is focused on empowerment, giving families the means to provide for themselves for years to come.

Your support can help:

• A widow earn an income and provide for her children.
• An orphan family move from hardship to self-sufficiency.
• A young adult become the provider for their household.
• A vulnerable family build a future after loss and hardship.

Follow the Journey

Our team will be on the ground in Afghanistan from 15th June, personally overseeing the distribution and implementation of these projects.

Every donation will be documented and shared through photos and videos from the field, allowing supporters to witness the impact of their generosity and the lives being transformed through this campaign.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people."

By supporting this campaign, you are helping families restore hope, rebuild their lives, and create a future built upon dignity, opportunity, and self-reliance.
