My name is Hussein Hamidi and I am the Fundraising Manager at Bonyan Organization.

I am writing to you from Gaziantep with a heavy heart, as yet another 6.4 magnitude earthquake has just hit Turkey and Syria.

Right now, the situation feels like the day of judgment. People are leaving their houses in a hurry to the streets.

We also have reports of additional buildings that got damaged and destroyed in Syria and people appealing for help from under the rubble.
We want to sincerely thank you for your past donations to the organization. In the wake of this tragedy, we are in desperate need of your support and assistance.

We have allocated 90% of the donations for Syria as no help is coming to Syria, unfortunately.

Dear Donors,

We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generous donations to our Earthquake Emergency Response campaign in Turkey and Syria. Your donations will go a long way in helping provide aid and relief to those affected by this devastating event.

Bonyan Organization is doing everything it can to respond to the needs of those affected by the earthquake.

Our team members are working around the clock, providing supplies, food, shelter, medical attention and more to those affected. We are also connecting with local organizations in order to coordinate an effective response.

Our team has seen firsthand how much destruction has been caused by this earthquake and we are deeply moved by what we have witnessed. The scenes of destruction have made us even more determined to do whatever it takes to help those affected. We know that your donations will play a vital role in helping us make a difference in people’s lives.
