Our Story: Building a Home for the Next Generation

For decades, Masjid Hamza has served the Valley Stream, Long Island, and Queens communities with dedication and purpose. In 2001, we expanded our mission by opening Hamza Academy with just 15 students. Today, we proudly educate 200 children from Pre-K to 8th grade in a nurturing environment rooted in Islamic values, strong academics, and community service.

But our classrooms are full—and the demand keeps growing. Families want more opportunities for their children, and we want to offer a complete Islamic school journey from Pre-K through 12th grade.

To make this vision a reality, we aim to raise $3.2 million to purchase a nearby church and residential property. This new space will allow us to:

✔ Expand to a full High School
✔ Establish a new place of worship and community center
✔ Serve more families and students

With your support, we can build a lasting home for future generations—a place where our children grow in faith, knowledge, and character.

Together, let’s build their future.
