raised of $1,500,000 USD goal

Assalamu Alaikum Dear Brothers and Sisters,
It began with one simple act: a Georgetown family opening their home for daily salah
A few Muslims came. Then more families with their children. What began in one family's home became something we had been longing for. A community.
Last Ramadan, Alhamdulillah, four local huffadh led taraweeh, and we completed the Quran with 150+ people in attendance. Since then, we have held weekly jumuah (20+ weeks so far), community events, sister's meetups, and weekly Fajr in jama'ah.
We are no longer an idea. We have become a community that shows up. Our community needs a home.

The nearest masjid is 25+ minutes away, so we gather wherever space is available.

We dream of a home where the adhan is called, where children learn Quran, and where generations grow up connected to Allah. By this upcoming Ramadan, we expect to have tripled in size.
Georgetown's population has grown 2.25 times since 2010, from 47,400 people to 106,907, and it is still climbing.
Muslim families are settling in Williamson County due to the natural beauty that Allah has favored the area with. From caverns and quarries, to rivers and lakes, Georgetown has them all. Georgetown is also known to have breathtaking viewpoints of both sunrise and sunset.

We are raising $1.5 million to own our land outright and open our first prayer structure. There will be no loans, no mortgage and no riba.
| Category | What it secures | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Land | 2+ acres in Georgetown, purchased in full | $ 900,000. |
| First structure | A first prayer hall on the land, with site work, utilities, parking and a wudu area, so we can start praying there | $ 600,000. |
| Total | $1,500,000. |
Why 100% cash? Every dollar you give becomes an asset the community owns outright. Nothing can be lost to a lender, and no future board inherits debt. A masjid with no debt can put its income into its people and its programs.
Built to last 100 years. Our goal is a self-sustaining masjid serving Muslims in Georgetown and the surrounding area, including Leander. The land plan leaves room for future growth, so the masjid can one day support itself and not depend on emergency appeals. Your gift is the foundation of that sadaqah jariyah, a continuing charity that can carry your reward for generations.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever builds a masjid for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise." (Sahih al-Bukhari 450, Sahih Muslim 533)
"When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him." (Sahih Muslim 1631)
A masjid in Georgetown can hold all three: the charity of the building, the knowledge taught in it, and the children raised in it.

You may live in Austin, Houston, Dallas or San Antonio, but Georgetown's masjid is your masjid too.

Take a simple action.
| Giving Level | What it secures |
|---|---|
| $50 | 5 sq ft of masjid land |
| $100 | 10 sq ft, a prayer space for one worshipper |
| $500 | A row in the first prayer hall |
| $1,000 | 100 sq ft of land, owned outright forever |
| $5,000 | The wudu area |
| $10,000+ | A founding family of the masjid |

While we expect to meet our goal in full, InshaAllah, we are on a strict deadline to raise $1 million to complete the purchase of the land by January, 2027. Missing our goal risks losing access to the specific property we have under contract. In such a situation, we will continue to seek alternate opportunities utilize the funds already collected towards the purchase. Rest assured that all funds collected towards building Islamic Center of Lake Georgetown (ICLG), will InshaAllah, be used towards acquiring and building of the masjid even if it isn't in the exact same spot.
Please visit with one of us in person and we will be happy to share more details with you.
Funds beyond the goal go to the next phase of the masjid and to building its long-term self-sufficiency.
