Breast Cancer Support for Women in Yemen

I am supporting 30 women in Yemen this International Women's Day during Ramadan.

This Ramadan, while many of us break our fasts in safety, thousands of women in Yemen are fighting a very different battle — one against breast cancer, in a health system pushed to the brink by years of conflict and poverty.

In Yemen today:

• 19.5 million people need humanitarian assistance
• Almost half of health facilities are partially functioning or closed
• 5.5 million women and girls lack access to essential healthcare

For women diagnosed with breast cancer, this often means an impossible choice:
feed their families — or seek life-saving treatment.

This Ramadan 2026, Action For Humanity (AFH) is providing direct medical support to women in Yemen who urgently need breast cancer surgery and treatment.

Through targeted financial assistance, we are helping women:

• Access life-saving surgery
• Receive chemotherapy, medication, and follow-up consultations
