Every scan a diagnosis, every diagnosis a life — your sadaqah jariyah, running day and night.

Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem

"And whoever saves one life, it is as if he had saved all of mankind." (Al-Ma'idah 5:32)

The hospital that taught the world how blood moves through the human body can no longer see inside a single patient.

More than seven centuries ago, in Damascus, the physician Ibn Al-Nafees discovered pulmonary circulation — a breakthrough that changed medicine forever. For him, medicine was knowledge, worship, and service to people.

Today, the hospital that carries his name has lost the eye it sees with. Its CT scanner has broken down, and diagnosis has stopped in the very place his name was meant to honour.

What that means, every single day

Walk into Ibn Al-Nafees Hospital in Damascus and you walk past the waiting: a mother holding a file she cannot read, a father hoping the answer is simple, a son pushing his mother’s wheelchair down a corridor toward a room that cannot help her today.

And you walk past doctors who know exactly what they need to see — and have no way to see it.

How painful it is to carry your suffering without a name. To be sent home with “we cannot be sure.” To be told the scan must wait, or must be paid for somewhere else, in a city where most families simply cannot afford it.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Allah has not sent down any disease except that He has also sent down its cure." (Sahih al-Bukhari)

The cure exists, by Allah’s will. But the road to it begins with an accurate diagnosis — and today that road is closed.

Our goal: $500,000 for a new CT scanner

One machine stands between thousands of patients and the beginning of their treatment. At Molham Team, we are determined to put it back — with you, and through you.

Your donation funds the purchase, delivery, installation and commissioning of a new CT scanner at Ibn Al-Nafees Hospital in Damascus: a public hospital serving families who have nowhere else to turn.

Why this is your sadaqah jariyah

Most charity is given once and received once. This is not that.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them." (Sahih Muslim)

A CT scanner does not stop. It runs through the morning, through the night, through Ramadan, through years. Every scan it takes, every illness it catches early, every life it helps save — the reward keeps flowing to you, long after you have forgotten you gave.

He (peace be upon him) also said: "Whoever relieves a believer of a hardship of this world, Allah will relieve him of a hardship on the Day of Resurrection." (Sahih Muslim)

How many hardships will you lift? The patient who finally has an answer. The mother who stops imagining the worst. The child who gets his father back.

Take your share in the scanner

We have divided this machine into 5,000 shares of $100 each. Every share is a real, countable part of it.

  • Take one share — $100 — and you own a part of every scan it ever takes.
  • Take it in someone’s name — your parents, a loved one you have lost — and the reward of every diagnosis is written in their scale, every day, for as long as the machine runs.
  • Share this campaign. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever guides someone to good will have a reward like the one who does it." (Sahih Muslim)

Why Molham Team

Molham Volunteering Team is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has worked with Syrian families since 2012. We do not stop at handing over equipment: we secure the device, install it, and follow it. The scanner will be purchased, delivered and commissioned under our supervision, and we will report back to you with photographs from the very room you are looking at now — with a new machine in it.

Give now. Be the image that reveals the pain, and the beginning of a healing that can no longer wait.

O Allah, heal our sick and the sick of all Muslims, and accept this from us purely for Your sake. 💙
