We are in a race against time to secure our new campus in Spain, and we must complete the payment by the end of Ramadan. This campus will serve as a center of learning, faith, and revival, where thousands of students will study divine knowledge and reconnect with the rich Andalusian legacy.
We are fundraising €2 million, and while this may seem like a great amount, it is nothing if we unite as an Ummah. If 8,000 people each donate €250, we can make this vision a reality—InshaAllah. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of a waqf that will benefit generations to come. Your contribution is more than just a donation—it’s an eternal investment in knowledge, faith, and the future of Islamic scholarship in the Spanish-speaking world.
Welcome to the new Campus of The Islamic University of Spain Al-Andalusia, in Seville, a city celebrated for its centuries of rich heritage. Capable to welcome over 700 students, this remarkable space aspires to unite Muslims from every corner of the globe, and specially form the Spanish-speaking community, allowing them to reconnect with a legacy that once shone brightly across the world.
Since 2013, Al-Andalusia has evolved from a modest endeavor into an international beacon of Islamic education, currently serving over 600 students from 22 countries. We are the first institution to offer a Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Sciences and Theology and a Master, in both Spanish and Arabic, alongside various other degrees, diplomas and courses designed to rejuvenate the Andalusian spirit of knowledge, tolerance, and cultural brilliance.

The Founder
Behind this transformative journey stands our founder, Shaykh Mohammad Idrissi—a visionary born in Córdoba, the historic heart of Al-Andalus. With over fifteen years of experience in Islamic education, he’s recognized internationally for his scholarly contributions and leadership in curriculum development.
He is the first person known since that golden era to memorize the entire Quran in all recitations, obtain ijazah in every authentic Hadith collection, and specialize in Fiqh. His Idrissi family lived in the era of Al-Andalus in these lands, like to the renowned cartographer Muhammad Al-Idrissi, while his maternal line, the Alcaraz family, descends from the Moriscos. This profound heritage fuels his devotion to reigniting the light of the Andalusian Legacy for new generations.

Our Mission
Yet, our journey is far from complete. Every day, we see how our programs transform the lives of children, youth, and adults—giving them renewed hope, a clearer sense of purpose, and a sense of belonging. From early learning experiences to specialized training for advanced students, our holistic approach intertwines faith, scholarship, and spirituality in a way that genuinely enriches the human experience.
Imagine the possibilities once our new campus fully comes to life in Seville—an environment where families can find solace, scholars can deepen their research, and hearts can awaken to the enduring beauty of Islamic knowledge. This vision is more than just an institution; it’s a hub where future generations will thrive, discover their calling, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. Through your support, Al-Andalusia will continue to stand as a beacon of hope, connecting individuals across the globe to a legacy of faith, academic excellence, and spiritual growth.
We Need Your Help
Now, we invite you to become a part of this story through our waqf project—a charitable investment that will secure and enhance this campus, ensuring its doors remain open for generations to come. Your generous support will finalize the purchase, expand our curriculum, and safeguard the unique Andalusian legacy we carry, rekindling a heritage of enlightenment and shared values.
Time is short, and our goal is to begin the academic year this September. If we cannot meet our funding target in time, we also risk losing this precious opportunity—one that could profoundly shape the future of the Spanish-speaking Muslim community. This is more than a transaction; it’s a chance to preserve a history filled with beauty and wisdom, and to share it with those who seek knowledge today and tomorrow.
Join us in reviving the Andalusian Legacy that once lit the world, poised to shine again through knowledge, unity, and faith. By contributing now, you become a guardian of history and a champion of future generations. Together, we’ll forge a new chapter in the story of Al-Andalusia—one you’ll be proud to share with the world.

Founded in 2012 by a group of De Montfort University students, Riders of Shaam has since gone on to host annual cycle rides to different parts of Europe. Having raised over £2Million for many worthy causes.
Blending the joy of cycling with the noble cause of giving back, Riders of Shaam is a dedicated group of cyclists united by a passion for supporting communities in need. The Syrian population has been brutalized, with nearly a half a million killed, 12 million fleeing their homes to find safety elsewhere, and widespread poverty and hunger, this blessed region of Shaam, provided us with a purpose, our name reflects the struggles, resilient spirit, and enduring bonds of the people we aim to support.
At the core of Riders of Shaam is the belief that change can be pedaled forward with purpose. We ride for charity, working to raise awareness, funds, and mobilize action for causes that bring about real change. From healthcare and education to disaster relief and poverty alleviation, we focus on initiatives that reflect our values of compassion, solidarity, and empowerment.

Because every kilometer is a reminder of the difference we can make. The rhythm of our pedals is more than just exercise; it’s a call to action. Each ride we undertake is dedicated to supporting those in need—whether it’s delivering essential supplies, helping build sustainable communities, or providing vital support to underprivileged individuals and families. Through organised charity rides, events, and fundraising campaigns, Riders of Shaam brings together cyclists from all backgrounds, united by one goal: to create lasting, positive change.
Our community of riders is diverse, but our mission is unified. From seasoned cyclists to newcomers, we welcome anyone with a love for cycling and a desire to help others. We believe that together, we can pedal toward a brighter future, using our collective strength and determination to make a meaningful impact.
Donate Today — for every mile, every cyclist, and every cause we support. Ride with purpose. Ride with us.
