​Ramadhan Aid To Gaza

Gaza Strip remains under a suffocating blockade, strangling Palestinians for more than eleven years. The blockade affects the daily lives of more than 2 million citizens, including 1.3 million refugees with employment rate reaching over 43.2 percent of the population. Over 60% of the population are living below the poverty line.

This project aims to provide urgent aid to help the poor families in different areas of the Gaza Strip with special care taken to include families with orphans, widows, divorcees, the unemployed and disabled children. With the beginning of Ramadhan, the month of patience and perseverance. We are targeting in total (500) families who are living through poverty and difficult circumstances in Gaza City. What we aim to provide :

1. An Iftar orphan gathering for 100 orphans - each orphan family will enjoy a rice and chicken meal.

2. 100 Hot meals - each meal includes (2 grilled chicken, rice, yogurt and a drink).

3. 200 Food Aid packs to the most vulnerable families in Gaza. Enough to feed a family of 5 for 1 month

4. Iftar Meals will be distributed in (2) Masjids - meals for 500 to 800 pax (will be distributed to homes if not permitted)

5. Sahoor Meals will be also distributed on last 10 nights of Ramadhan in 1 Masjid or for 1000 pax

6. 100 Eid gifts will be distributed for orphaned children during Eid

Additionally, for Covid 19 Emergency Response, we plan to provide :

1. 100 sets of hygiene kits

2. 100 sets of blankets

3. 100 sets of mattresses

5. Food aid to those under quarantine or lockdown

The total cost to provide all the above is SGD 60,000. The more we fund raise, the more  people we can help in Gaza.
