GOAL:

Our aim InshaAllah is to equip and train the underprivileged to become self-sufficient. Over the past year, thanks to the generous donations by people like yourself, we have been undertaking the construction of a Technical Center which is now completely constructed. 

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The one who looks after a widow and a poor person is like the Mujahid in the cause of Allah, or like the one who fasts all the day and stands (in prayer) all the night."

Children in developing countries are often forced to work due to dire circumstances and poverty. This means that they will be doing various menial jobs like servants in houses, helpers in shops, rubbish collectors. Unfortunately, they don't get the opportunities to learn some skill to earn their livelihood. We constructed the Technical center to increase their chances of employment.

We are now in need of raising funds as maintenance grants/skill learning grants to be given to the orphan and needy children to complete skill based courses in the institute. This will help their families to allow them to learn a skill within a period of six months instead of earning a living by menial jobs. The grants will be under the donors name and full recipient lists will be provided. 

The center will be used to impart skills to orphans and widows to ensure they can earn a living and be independent by acquiring useful skills.

The idea is to train women to knit and sew which will enable them to run their households without the need to rely on others. The desktops will be used to teach essential IT skills such as the use of Microsoft office to children and adults alike. We hope to provide quality education which can serve as a means of income for the needy withing the community. Information technology, beautician courses, cooking skills as well as sewing of dresses, embroidery and leather sewing skills will be given. The girls interested will also be trained in corel draw, photoshop and Web designing techniques.

Other Projects:

We completed the allocation of full grants and partial grants for 67 schools scattered in 41 villages. We allocated 231 Full Grants and 1200 Partial Grants and total number of students benefited will be 231 + 1200 = 1,431.

2.  Sameera foundation distributed ~310 Ramadhan Food gift packages for the disabled, widows and/or poor families.

3. Sameera Foundation also regularly supplies school bags, books and stationary supplies to the needy around different villages in Pakistan. We also distribute free wheel chairs to the less fortunate.
