Salaam - may peace be upon you.
My name is Osman Karolia and in this auspicious month of Ramadan, I pledge to run 300km across Sydney to support the weak, hungry and vulnerable with job creation and livelihood projects for widows, scooters for disabled Palestinans, and food aid in countries ravaged by conflict.
Penny Appeal Australia's philosophy is "small change, big difference".
To run 300km is difficult, but it is insignificant compared to the difficulty experienced by displaced peoples, orphans, and victims of oncoming conflict.
This challenge is my small bit that I will do to positively impact the lives of those in need - I invite you to join me on my mission to make a big difference.
A gift that will grow on you
You could plant an olive tree for a Palestinian family, which will provide a regular crop and a reliable income, as well as planting the seeds of hope for years to come.
